Finding Rahul

As the years go by, you get pulled into many roles—making your wife and kids happy, taking care of their needs, thinking about how they can succeed. Your work begins to consume you. It becomes your life. You start focusing on how to make the project successful, how to make a difference, how to meet deadlines.

Somewhere along the way, your hobbies and interests start to fade. You begin to lose the natural way you used to respond to challenges. You start to buckle under pressure. Taking up a hobby—even for a day—feels like a crime, like you’re stealing time from someone you’ve made a commitment to. Reclaiming time for yourself begins to feel impossible.

That’s when you need to pause.

You need to find your way back to the old Rahul—the one who cherished the little things in life, who spent hours doing what he loved: swimming, cricket, carrom, shooting, walking, running, exploring new places, soaking in nature.

Rediscovering oneself is the key.

Eat a lot

“Eat a lot” that’s the restaurant name my son suggested he would make when we were discussing our visit in London to Masalchi by Atul Kochhar.

Today he has opened a restaurant in our kitchen and called me for dinner.

To start with here’s the “open” sign while entering the restaurant

Here’s the “Eat a lot” menu.

Here’s the healthy starter served to me along with low restaurant like music.

This is the chef making the Poli/Naan

Now the chef / waiter serving me

Now it’s eating time.. Delicious

Mini Bruce Lee

For past 2 days, my son has removed his T-shirt for most of the day and focused on exercises.

Do you know the reason?

I showed him couple of fight sequences of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan… it’s been 2 days since he is calling himself mini Bruce Lee and showing me his routines - the snake , the gun….

Hopefully in  few days  the Bruce Lee will come out from my son .. I love this chap and have recorded his bare chest stunts to show him when he grows up.. unfortunately too private to upload it.

He made a bracelet “Mini Bruce Lee UK” for himself
